How To Make A Vegan Brownie (really easy to make egg free, dairy free, vegan)

Vegan Brownies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

• 2 cups/250g/9oz plain flour
• 1½ cups/350g/12oz demerara sugar
• 65g/3oz plain cocoa powder
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 250ml/½ pint water
• 250ml/½ pint vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 350F/180C/Gas 4.

2. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.

3. Pour in water, vegetable oil and vanilla; mix until well blended.

4. Spread evenly in a 23x33cm (9×13 in) baking tin.

5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top is no longer shiny.

6. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
